Over the next 51 years on top of being a wife, mother, grandmother and Sunday School teacher; she worked at various jobs as a caterer, teacher’s aide, clerical person at St. Francis Hospital, store manager at Lerner’s and teacher at Chandler Christian School. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, sewing, playing bridge and attending community and church functions. Nancy and Ronald enjoyed 7 happy years of their retirement RVing around the United States before returning to Massena, NY where they helped take care of their grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her husband Ronald LeRoux of Massena, NY, and her children Deborah and Richard Snider of Massena, NY, Rebecca Larrow of Massena, NY and Ronald LeRoux Jr. of Norwood, NY in addition to 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. She is also survived by her siblings, Bonnie and Bill Spencer of Hannacroix, NY, Karen Hunt and Andy Bryan of Evanston, IL, Gerald and Carol Ottman of Lake Forest, VA and Brian and Jenna Ottman of St. Louis, MO as well as 7 nieces and nephews.

Nancy was a very caring and giving person. She loved children and was happiest when teaching and taking care of them. She had a special place in her heart for sick and handicapped children, so for her last birthday she asked that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Donations in her honor may still be made there. Nancy will be sorely missed by all the lives she has touched.

Friends may call Saturday 1-3:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena where a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM with Pastor Samson Ryman, pastor of the Central Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Devlin Cemetery, Bangor.
