MASSENA – Raymond B. Kenny, 85, of Pontoon Bridge Road, passed away early Tuesday morning,
April 2, 2019 at Massena Memorial Hospital, after a lengthy illness.

Ray was born April 12, 1933 in Newfoundland, the son of the late David Bernard and Ellen Mary
(Costello) Kenny. In 1949, he entered the US Army Air Corps, serving until his discharge in 1953.

Ray was an ironworker in California for many years and ended his career as the President of the Ironworkers Local 433. More recently, he owned and operated Ray’s Place in Massena.
He enjoyed fishing, food, adventures, country music and most of all his daughters. He was a devoted father, grandfather and friend.

Ray is survived by his daughters, Erica and Andrew LaGarry of Massena; Shelly and Ian Summerell of
Ottawa; and Amanda Kenny and Jason Horan of Massena; 5 grandchildren and 2 sisters.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by five siblings.
