Obituary for Pauline E. Bromley (Lindsay)

MASSENA – Mrs. Pauline E. Bromley, 89, of Marie Street, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at the St. Regis Nursing Home.

Pauline was born February 14, 1928 in North Lawrence, the daughter of the late Leon and Ella Mahagen Lindsay and was a 1945 graduate of North Lawrence High School. On April 14, 1951, she married Egbert F. Bromley at the St. Lawrence Church Rectory in North Lawrence. Egbert predeceased her on July 31, 1996.

Pauline was a clerk at Kinney Drug Store in Massena for over 20 years. She was a communicant of the Church of the Sacred Heart and enjoyed reading, knitting, and crocheting.

She is survived by her daughters, Calla and Michael LaMay and Linda Weinrich, all of Hamlin, NY; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Dana Bromley in November 2009 and two brothers, Donald and Howard Lindsay.

A private graveside service will be held in St. Lawrence Cemetery, North Lawrence.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
