MASSENA – Mr. Steven Zyzik, 52, of Isabel Street, unexpectedly passed away Thursday afternoon at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh.

Steven was born March 9, 1965 in Massena, the son of the late Rudolf and Suzanne Frappier Zyzik. He was 1983 graduate of Massena High School and later graduated from SUNY Canton. On June 8, 1991, he married Julie DeLisle at the Church of the Sacred Heart with Msgr. John Pendergast officiating.

Steven worked for 10 years at General Motors and was currently working in the Materials Management Department at Massena Memorial Hospital. He enjoyed boating on the St. Lawrence River and spending time at their river cottage. He also enjoyed computer technology.

Steven is survived by his wife, Julie; his daughter, Morgan, currently a graduate student at SUNY Buffalo State; his sisters, Bethann Zyzik Thompson of Massena and Christine and Brent Poirier of Waddington; his mother-in-law, Jean DeLisle of Massena; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Tuesday 2-4:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, where his funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in the spring.
