RONALD “JESSE” TATRO

LOUISVILLE – Mr. Ronald “Jesse” Tatro, 68, of Willard Road, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.

Jesse was born September 16, 1949 in Malone, the son of the late Kenneth Gerald and Betty (Supernault) Tatro. On October 20, 1975, he entered the US Army, where he served until his honorable discharge On October 19, 1978. He married Brenda Degon, which later ended in divorce.

Jesse was currently working as a counselor at Rose Hill. He had previously worked as a cook for the Department of Correctional Services at Ogdensburg and Malone and owned and operated Pro Image in the St. Lawrence Center Mall. He enjoyed golfing and truly enjoyed local sports, where he coached Little League basketball and baseball for many years. Jesse quietly served with the local communities for his friend Bill W.

Jesse is survived by his longtime companion, Sally Hughes; his children, Serena Tatro of Massena; Lincoln and Molly Tatro of Wisconsin; and Sherrie Lyn Anderson of Virginia; 10 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Sandra Carrigan and Rebecca Robertson; his brothers, Gordon and Timothy Tatro; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Jr., Dennis, and Lawrence David Tatro.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services. Arrangements are with the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, where memories and condolences may be shared online at www.donaldsonfh.com.
